Growing up, I had a father who loved hunting and fishing. As I grew older I became completely obsessed with all things outdoors. Instead of Sunday morning cartoons, it was Sunday morning hunting shows. I began to realize that all I wanted to do for the rest of my life was hunt and fish. As a young kid I thought the only thing I would have to do is start a TV Show, so I picked up a camera. Now I’ve learned a lot over the years. It isn’t quite as simple as I thought it would be. However, I did develop a passion for telling a story with a camera. I went on to become a professional photographer, videographer, and social media manager. Now, Growing Wild is my outlet where I get to exercise some of my creative ability while still doing something I love. It began with just filming myself, but it has grown into filming my friends and family. It is so rewarding to have all of these adventures on camera, from my son’s first turkey hunt, to my daughters first bite of wild game. Growing Wild isn’t my full time job, it is a passion project.
